I know the song is "Walking in Memphis" but tonight it is raining, heavy at times.
Yes we have arrived at the Drury Hotel about 7:30 p.m. Finally a bed to sleep in. We had
a great day! After finally getting the count right on the bus Monday evening, as one group indicated one number but had an extra, and after some manipulating we left Eau Claire. Not much sleep on the bus, and a little getting used to everyone. We landed Tuesday in the Gateway to
the West, St. Louis. After time at the arch, and a fantastic museum under neath it, a stop at union station mall, a old train station converted to such, we rode over four hours to Memphis, passing through Arkansas to Tennessee, that is five states in less than 24 hours. The evening meal was a great buffet, like Old Country Buffet, and now unwinding and getting a shower before bed. We head on for New Orleans at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, Wednesday. The kids are a true delight and we could not ask for a better group of young people to accompany us on this journey
Thank you so much to everyone involved in setting up this blog. I love hearing how everything is going and the photos are priceless. Looking forward to the next blog.

Our favorite part today was the fact that we were on the bus for 22 hours!!....NOT! it was quite ridiculous. The chaperones picked the movie "Mama Mia" which none of the teens were exited about. Courtney was flipping a lid. We went to the St. Louis Arch also, we walked the museum and took pretty sweet pictures then after that all we did was walk and sit haha. After that we went to a nice mall, it was rather full of kids. We ate chinese and pizza. We sat in nice chairs that massaged our backs, if only the bus seats were like that:) Time ran out so we headed back to the bus. The only position that seemed nice was sleeping on the floor. We made sure to eat lots of food at Ryan's restaurant then after a long day of bus and Missouri it was time for us to settle into our nice hotel. A shower has never felt this nice. Well we're off to our group meeting. Stay Fresh Wisconsin :)
